It would have a long time ago, but it's lodged against the side of the ramp. Maybe the wind shift will do it.

Yeah have to keep in perspective that no matter how thrilling the footage, millions of people in Puerto Rico are having the worst morning of their lives.

Yes they are, I have alot of family there including my dad, I can't get a hold of anyone right now.

I know this has been answered in the Irma thread but I searched and could find it.

Why does S2K show Maria as a cat 5 on the graphic but NHC says it's a cat 4?

It shows a 4 now, might need to refresh. It does have errors though, it's an older piece of proprietary and unsupported software that has rounding errors which will sometimes report borderline storms as the wrong category. It's kind of a miracle it still works at all. :)

wow...that's why its so dangerous to be outside during a CAT 4/5. That flying aluminum could impale you and your dead.
