It's very cold above. If moistened dentritic growth would be lower layer, very good. I don't see much warming today, CAA is strong.

Sometimes you wonder if the guidance have the bands in the wrong places with a fully closed ULL. What's happening in central and western Oklahoma should be occurring in eastern Oklahoma.

The system is likely farther west than expected.

Also, an ODOT camera at I-40 & Air Depot in Midwest City is seeing a lot of snow flying around.

I'm not sure it's more west but at the least it's a closed deepening system that's pulling more over to the west side, east side dry slot. It can happen with very strong ones.

Light flurries here in Norman. Very light but it’s something!

The snowfall rate at my house has increased yet again, I think that heavier rates are in bands. It's currently 24°F outside

Some places further west in Kansas got accumulations when they weren’t supposed to get any. It ended up about 3 counties west, which would be enough for me to maybe get a dusting or so at least if it kept up down here.

I will note much of central KS was just at forecast, but they did raise accumulations for KC, so will see if that leads some south.

Yeah that's what I'm wondering... Is it gonna shift over here later

Granted to be fair our main window is technically still ahead

The TWC radar has it basically splitting around me after lunch

It's definitely wrapping around and the bands are setting up on the west side of the ULL. No doubt a closed system.

That seems to be diving more south than southeast. Any implications?

Snow in Texas, 8th wonder of the World

Don't use my posts as forecast; I'm not a licensed meteorologist! I just endorse cold weather, alright?

All observations I note are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Yet to have any strong precipitation but the flurries are continuing which is promising. If everything is about 3 counties West of where it should be, maybe I’ll be able to
cash in on a little bit.
