LOL, Amy, I have to watch that movie, too - once, twice...
ohhh...however many times I feel like it! It actually
came out in 1984. I think I've watched it every year, since.
A good pal of mine says that there is a "Part II" - something
about the Bumpas family (remember their DAWGS?) having
a hoe-down, every night...But, he says it just isn't as
funny as the original story.

Monday wasn't quite as bad as I thought that it would be,
after a Holiday weekend. Perhaps I am going to get slammed,
tomorrow... (*breeze runs and hides....quite paranoid...
...quite paranoid...!)

HOW many shopping days left 'til Christmas???

LOL....I just like to hear it, now and again...

Ya'll stay warm and toasty - and, have a good night!

Hi stovians,

Wow, Dennis, I hope that cold doesn't get over here. We hit 60 today. It was in the teens on Saturday.

We got the outside decorations up, and I didn't blow a fuse!

Enjoy the Christmas shows, guys, I can't bring myself to watch them. All those happy endings - drives me nuts. I will watch the grinch, at least half way through..... Just Kidding.

Yes, I will get into the spirit, but when I'm caught between the "I wants" and all the "I have tos," it takes something away from it. It shouldn't be that way, and deep down inside, the christmas spirit lurks. You have to be quiet and listen. It's there! At least until all the noise about "I want" starts up again.

I hope that makes sense.

Enjoy your weeks. They're counting down!

Oh Furry, you know me so well - TEQUILA!!!!!! please and thank you

Well, I'm really trying to get back into the swing of things. Thanksgiving was wonderful. I love my family soooooo much. With the hustle and bustle of the season I kinda put the family on the back burner and hurry thru the days so that I can get all my work and projects finished. How wonderful it is to stop and enjoy the people that I love. It reminds me that every minute is precious. How lucky I am.

Well I'll brew a pot of Earl Grey, stoke the fire a little and leave the KK's on the table. The chocolate one is for David.

((Hugs)) to all
Have a great day

Hey everyone. Hope all are well, at least better than me. I'm sitting here eating some chicken noodle soup after the worst morning ever. And I am not talking about school, I never got there. Instead, I spent most of the day laying around with stomach problems. Not sure why, but I suspect food poisoning. I went out to eat last night, and this morning I felt horrible. Maybe I should call the health department and find out if this place has been inspected yet.

Furry, those sunglasses look cool! I need some, as a matter of fact in a few, when I have some strength back, I'm going out to get my new glasses.

Ed, that is a funny pic! I can just see it now!

Well, that's it for me. Gonna go rest now. Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Been a while since I popped in, but I've been really busy as the rest of us have. Finally got up the gazillion lights outside and am going to work in the house today. Some year I would actually like to count the amount of lights we put out every year, its alot, took 3 days to get them all up. Every year it seems we keep adding. But the kids really enjoy them. And good ol' Saint Nick can not miss our house.

Love the crouton photo shot, he is definitley stylin' now. 8-)

Sounds like you had a great adventure visiting all those wonderful places furluvcats. I would like that toothbrush, sounds interesting.

Hope today is better for you therock, I hate the stomach flu, or bad food stomach thing. Hopefully it is out of your system.

Thanks for the kk's and tea pburgh, I think I will have some of both. Fire feels great and I am going to stay a while and get some much needed quiet time.

Have a wondeferous day everyone!!! :D

Hi. just thought I'd stop by and get a cup of chicken noodle soup.

It's been cold this morning as temps were falling below freezing at 6:45AM CST.

Now, if some snow can be added in my area, i'll have it made.

We're still waiting on snow too....my daughter is home sick today, and the slopes are open....tempting...but NO, she's really sick :(. My grandparents just flew home to FL today after a lovely 2 week visit here with us! My aunt flew in from Santa Cruz California as well, she came sick, and infected our house!!! lol But she wanted to see our property at Big Bear, and was at least able to make the trip up there! So yeah, we had a whirlwind mini vacations, taking my grandparents everywhere to see all the things we always do! I'm gonna miss having them here!!!!

Glad you're all enjoying the treats I left behind...I saved all the Kahluha for me, but am now breaking it out to share...so here's some

Kahluha...
some
eggnog...
and some
spiced cider....

enjoy!
