The numbers will change at 7:00 PM EST to coincide with 00:00z time.After the 2nd of April which is the start of daylight savings time the change will be at 8:00 PM EDT.

Important dates prior to June 1:

1-March 15=Official Storm2k forecast Numbers Poll will start. *

2- March 17=ST Patrick's Day. *

3- March 20=Official Start of Spring (Vernal Equinox) at 1:26 PM EST.

4-March 20-24=Hurricane Conference,Mobile,Alabama

5- April 2=Daylight Savings Time begins.

6-April 4=Philip J. Klotzbach/Dr William Gray April 2006 outlook.

7-April 10-14=Hurricane Conference,Orlando,Fla.

8- April 16= Easter.

9- April 22=Earth Day.

10-April 24-28=27th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology,Monterey,California.

11-May 14=Mothers Day.

12-Around Mid-May=NOAA first 2006 hurricane season outlook.

13- May 15= EPAC hurricane season starts.

14-May 21-27=Hurricane Preparedeness Week.

15- May 29=Memorial Day.

16- May 31=Philip J. Klotzbach/Dr William Gray hours before 2006 season starts outlook.

* Day has passed.


Note=If anyone knows the exact date when NOAA will release their mid-may outlook you can post it and I will include it at the important dates list.

Also if anyone knows of another important date that is not listed here please let me know.

Geez it's getting ridiculously closer now I remember 100 days ago and that's 1/4 the value we're allready surpassed now.

It's not gonna be long until we enter April and start seeing topics for every wave in the universe. How exciting.

In Florida EST there is 74days 58minutes, when you click on website at the top go to modify countdown, click on the state u live and it will give u the exact time of June 1st at your location, I'm telling u this incase u didn't know

Someone a while back asked when the NOAA seasonal forecast is... traditionally it has been on the Monday of Hurricane Awareness Week... which would mean May 22.
