THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A BEAR WATCH FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
STORM2K
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED AN AREA OF INTEREST CAPABLE OF AROUSING FRENZIED ACTIVITY, POTENTIAL -removed-, TROPICAL FEVER, AND TROPICAL DEPRESSION IF THE SUPPOSED "AREA UNDER WATCH" DOES NOT DEVELOP. ALL STORM2K RESIDENTS MUST BE UNDER HIGHTENED ALERT! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION!

The shear is 30 to 50 knots over this system...The the fact that the shear is not decreasing.,,I give this .0000001 percent chance of the nhc upgrading it.

Lets wait intill June. Or Mid May for us Eastern Pacific hunters.

I know I said we shouldn't a lot of images but, this is my take on this area iin question.
I really like to get a pro mets opinion also before people start to draw conclusions about this "system". I just don't see conclusive evidence that there is in fact and area of low pressure there. I do see some sort of circulation but, I don't see any west winds to complete it. Also to mention I do think the waters are too cool for any type of tropical formation.
The cyclone phase and analysis page does show what they are the discos are talking about with the closed off circulation.
I just see way too much shear and also SST's are too low.
Also to note if by some slim chance something develops at the lower levels it will not be heading towards florida as the stearing flow would send it southwesterly.

If something happens meaning getting better organized enough to get an invest there will be a new thread that will be made.
