Thank you Ticka, Linda and Jacki for your support. You'll be receiving free men's Support Catalogs in the mail as evidence of my gratitude. Enjoy them as I have been! (Psst, for those that offer up their support now, you will get the chance to be at the next catalog shoot-now that should heat up the race!)

I’m Jara Jennings with a “fair and balanced” report.

A new chef cooking at the White House? That is John’s offer for the winning candidate while the election itself continues to heat up. The support for him seems to be strong with southerngale and Lindaloo both commenting on John’s credentials. Ticka1, commenting on John, took the opportunity to poke fun at southerngale stating that southerngale might be good at:

THONG DANCER ???? Or COWBOY CHEERLEADER

J asked for class in the discussion:

c'mon ticka...lets make it sound more dignified.

How about.. "Executive in charge of choreograph, and exotic dance routines for drooling men."

A movie to follow we can title, "Kelly does Dallas".

Class does not seem important in this election. Ticka, never one to miss a voter block, promised to create the position. Polls show her standing among men 18 to 25 increased 15 points after the promise. Meanwhile, the ugly cloud of vote buying hangs over Ticka’s camp in light of a direct offer by CajunMama to sell her Cajun Associations Vote. She has been seen recently at Ticka’s campaign Headquarters. Former Rainstorm supporter, JCT777, turned Ticka fan and “Head Chef” wannabe offered a sizable donation for CajunMamas support. The buying and selling of our political process appears to continue.

Breaking News here…I understand that Marva is currently making a statement. Lets listen in:

Due to the recent absence of my opponent in the House Decorator contest, Ms. Furluvcats, it should now be obvious that I am the only choice for this position and am therefore running unopposed. I mean really, who could do a better job than I? Who gave you tips of lighting your house for the holidays? Why would you want a White House full of kitty litter ? And lest she see the need to set the fur flying, let me just inform you Ms. Furluvcats, that I am not above slinging mud, or in your case, kitty litter to make sure you hold NO position in the house, cabinet, or anywhere for that matter. My dear constituents, have I ever sent slanderous emails to you? Have I ever made unsubstantiated claims regarding well respected individuals on this board via a private message to you? Have I ever insinuated any impropriety among members on this board? The answer to all three is no. Why would you settle for less? Why would you want someone decorating YOUR WHITE HOUSE that has so little class and so little respect for you ? Obviously, you wouldn't. So you have me, the Magnificent Marva who will make YOUR WHITE HOUSE a true showplace among homes; who will listen to any and all input and decorate with class and taste, something Ms. Furluvcats never had, never will.

Your faithful decorating Maven,
Marva

Interesting. The crowd Has some questions. Lets listen.

Pburgh: The Pittsburgh delegation is reading these posts very carefully trying to decide which candidate would do the most for our cause. At my age, I am very interested in the merits of all supporter too. I thoroughly believe in supporter. Any kind of supporter. I need to be UPLIFTED at this point.

Marva: Dear Pburgh:
I would be happy to personally design your own special supporters. I have my own line and can tailor any one of my designs to "fit" your needs. Should I send you a catalog? It includes pics of me wearing each individual piece in the women's collection. I also have the male collection beautifully modeled by GhostWolf, Chad and JCT. Since I will be The Decorator, I feel it only "fitting" that my supporters be supported as well!

I’m not sure what Pburgh meant by “uplifted”, but it appears that Marva wishes to deliver. All the Presidential Candidates are supporting Marva as well and Marva has answered with promises of future favors.

And Finally, Lindaloo offered an interesting campaign promise yesterday at the meeting of “Sceptic Tank Cleaners of America”. Here is what she had to say to this reporter:

stormchazer wrote:
Lindaloo wrote:
I have always supported doing away with Congress. Taking their pay and giving our teachers, policemen and firefighters the much needed money they deserve.

Is that a campaign promise?

Well yeah I guess it is.

That’s all for now. Jara Jennings reporting, always “fair and balanced”.

Glad to see you are on top of things, Jara. I think it would be interesting to get some competition for the position of Head Chef. But I guess everyone is intimidated by me.

John, I don't think anyone is intimidated by you, it's just that there is no one that is even in your league when it comes to your culinary expertise. Me personally, no one can top your steaks! BTW, hope you didn't mind that I included those shots of you in my Men's Support catalog being distributed to my supporters. The pics were aboslutely......yummy!

Hey, Suzi Q, do you have any banners I can post in my Signature? You're the decorator of choice by far. :D

Anthony darling,
Not yet but am working on it. Seem to be having a little trouble getting my male support models to actually wear their support garments and it's becoming a little distracting. Anyway, what kind of signature did you have in mind? Colors? I prefer aubergine, but that's just me. Let me know what you'd like and I'll WHIP something up for you.

Uh, I like my aubergines stuffed, but that or Plum might go well with my grey background. :)

But anything to put in my virtual front yard to get out the vote will do.

Also, Marva, you may want to reconsider a run for President. At this rate, your post count is rising considerably and may be able to sqeeze enough posts in to qualify.

What is the post count qualifications? I can vouch for her that she is well known in the chatroom and should be able to transfer some time in there to substitute for post counts here. Any objections? :)

Why doesn't my campaign banner in my signature show up? Is the competition trying to sabotage Lindaloo's campaign?

I thought that it had been lowered to 150. IF that is the case, Marva definately qualifies.

As for running against John for Chef, I can cook a mean meal, but nothing that compares to the delicacies that are produced in the S2K bar by John....He will just have to run unopposed for now.

I could, however fill in as excecutive waiter to the incoming President.
Providing of course the only candidates are Lindaloo and Ticka.
