No need to apologize. Linda had a post on the Porch topic too, in regards to how it really is down there. I think you all need to vent and give us first hand accounts. So don't ever feel you need to say you're sorry. Thoughts and prayers coming your way. My college freshman daughter, Nina, just volunteered in your community this past weekend. She was with a group froom her college, Western Kentucky U. They were staying at a Baptist church in Mobile, driving into Pascagoula Thurs/Fri/Sat. to help with housing repairs or building new structures. She was due back on campus yesterday. We're hoping to hear from her today. This is what she elected to do with her Fall School Break - help out. We of course missed not seeing her but how can I complain? I can't...in fact, we're so proud she wanted to give up her free time to help just a little. So if you happened to hear about a group from Western, she was a part of it.
The first twenty minutes.....well, you probably saw Michael and Sawyer hit the beach the week before. Jin running up to them, saying "others".....that group came up to them but before Michael and Sawyer could explain they meant no harm, the African American man hit Sawyer with a club or tree branch. All 3 were dragged to a hole in the ground, rolled down a steep embankment, covered in a grate made with sticks but weighed down heavily with something. They were trying to get out, Sawyer asked to be booted up. A sharp object was thrust thru the grate, a knife I think. Then a young woman was hurled down the embankment, and when she came to, she appeared scared of the 3. Then they explained who they were, how they came to be on the island. She said - you mean flight 815, Oceanic? She said she was in the tail section. She said to boost her up and Sawyer gave her the gun. She turned it on the 3 and the "others" pulled her up and out of the hole. The 3 remained trapped, no gun, no way out. I don't think her group are the others, but rather tail section survivors and they're scared, thinking Michael/Sawyer/Jin are the dreaded "others", if they met up with the French lady at some point. She was bait to see what the 3 were up to.
Kate managed to jump back down thru a vent of some sort, finding guns. She loaded one and came up on Desmond, holding the gun on Locke. They ordered him to drop the gun, but he wouldn't. She fired and her shot hit the computer. Desmond was freaking out, saying oh no, what have you done. Locke managed to get thru to Jack and Kate, that Desmond meant them all no harm. Suddenly Desmond was running around, checking all sorts of things on the computer, telling Jack and Locke where a movie reel was located, to explain why he's been down there. Jack and Locke watched the movie, Jack extremely skeptical (no surprise there) and Locke, intriqued. Saying we will have to watch that again. Jack looked at Locke like he was crazy (for the umpteenth time). Somewhere along the line Desmond asked if any of them knew much about computers. No. Kate said Sayid did. Go get him someone said. She asked if there was another way out, yes there's a door. She unlocked it by turning a wheel lock like you'd find on a ship. They didn't show what this 'door' looks like from the outside (I'm curious about that). Sayid arrives, is incredulous at what is down the hatch, briefly glancing around, but focuses on what he has to do. Fixes the computer, power was knocked out, it's restored. Hurley came with him and took one look at the fully stocked pantry, saying of course - dude.
That's probably past where you started watching. Let me know if you need more info or if I have something wrong (the rest of you Lost addicts, he he). It's easy to get something wrong. LOL
