@stormchasernick: "RT @JohnGumm: Rich Jaffe on Moscow, OH on 52 in Clermont County: "This town is just gone.."

FYI, town has a population of 244 residents but also has a nuclear power plant located there...

I absolutely do not want to imagine the potential devastation in this area and all the other places today. For those in the affected areas or watch areas, PLEASE be safe!!!!

This outbreak potentially may go down into the history books in U.S. as among the worst ever. My thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected!!!

Looking at the radar, I would say it is worse than that. More likely flattened buildings.

I agree. That radar presentation looked off the charts to my untrained eye. I'd say it may be the worst strike of the day so far and it appeared it made a direct hit on the town.

@ChaserTV: "Very concerned about news coming out of West Liberty, KY. Sig Damage/Injuries. Scanner feed out of that area: http://ow.ly/9qhVq #kywx."

Not saying that this will rival Joplin in any shape form or fashion, but that sounds like the kind of scanner traffic that was apparent VERY quickly after that tornado last year.

‏@TornadoTitans: "West Liberty, KY was recovering from an EF2 last Wednesday. Just took a direct hit from what appears to be a strong tornado at least."

Wow. Didn't realize they were hit last week. That's just unreal, just unreal.

No, that tornado was 2 days ago. This storm followed the exact same path, almost. Both just missed my parents' place, and then dropped a tornado about 15 miles past their house.

Henry M said about an hour ago that when it was all said and done, this would rival last year.

I'm not sure about the number of overall tornadoes today versus last April, nor the number of EF-5's (not sure there has been one yet today), but it appears very, very, very widespread moderate to severe damage occurring.

And who knows what we'll see as the day continues and crews get into the hardest hit areas.
