If Bonnie is dying why then are new storms forming near the center right now? Dying storms do not form new storms; they just fade away. That little band near the center is brand spanking new. This could be the start of something here that develops into something a little bigger over night. Keep watching!

Dandy Don is just about ready to "turn out the lights" on the 2010 version of Bonnie.

Like a bad actor she's stretching out the death scene too long. :x The longer it goes west the longer I have to sit here and check on her, of course I could be at work. :cheesy:

We are watching, and as can be seen on the recon thread, thus far there is no signs of intensification. Bonnie will need more than just a little band. As for your first contention, remnant lows do indeed wax and wane, just as tropical waves do. You can clearly see this fact if you watch East Pac systems dying in the stable stratocu layer.

Numerous SFMR of TS winds found by RECON, glad I don't have to write the TWO for Bonnie.

The moon and stars are clear as night here! A few clouds but not many.

Small semi-circle of thunderstorms have formed around Bonnie's Center.

If the shear abates she could briefly run for Tropical Storm Strength.

She's not dead...satellite can be misleading. As long as there is low level WARM circulation, it's there. I smell windshear lowering tomorrow in the N. Central Gulf...we could still have a minimal storm. I'm not "worried," but, Bonnie is not dead..yet.

Is it getting stronger and is there a chance it could move more westward?
