Yeah... it's a party and everyone is there, so it's not an affair type deal. Lynette though gets jealous and kisses Carlos for retalliation... and it seems like Lynette enjoys it more than Gabby does. :P

WOW... tonight is great. Zach has really changed. Andrew and Justin... can't say I'm surprised. Paul  . Why do I feel Susan and Mike will get back together? LOL at Edie telling that mystery guy off. I'm starting to see Lynette's point on the jealousy issue. I didn't know Bree knew about Gabby's affair though.

He knows about their past(the whole Caleb mystery), I just can't figure out how he ties in. Caleb knew who he was though...

That was hilarious when Susan and Mike looked over at Paul after the trunk popped open and then Paul threw his hands up as if to say, "Well, don't look at me this time. I didn't do it!"

I finally watched. First off the kiss. Even if Lynette was uncomfortable with it, saying so sure opened up a can of worms! And worms are appropriate on this show.....dead people and all. I kept wanting to shout out - no Lynette, keep your feelings to yourself! Tom isn't going to stray...at least I don't think he is. I didn't see the return kiss coming though and Carlos' suggestion later - eek! I can't picture those 2 together, not at all!

I hate to say this, but I don't really care for the Applewhite's story. I don't think viewers had enough time to invest in caring about this family. Then to be thrown a disabled brother/son's situation and chaining him up in the basement? All of it just makes me feel creepy. And here in Cincinnati, a family kept their dead mother's body, wrapped in in a chair in the attic, facing a TV to boot, for over 2 years. Yes - a true story!

So I guess I look at the Applewhite's and wonder how they fit into the neighborhood. How Betty could ever fit in now, would have to be a miracle!

Zach still gives me the creeps. Have to mention that.

Susan's dinginess too, running over to Mike's when she first spots Zach living back at home. Susan - walk girl, one foot in front of the other - you are not a kid anymore!

I'm done....I still need to edit our weekly DVR timer, DH goes over the hour by a minute and I never get to see previews. So I have no idea what's coming.

From the promo:

Susan meets an attractive surgeon who's younger than her. On their 1st date they headbutt each other. Would you expect anything less from Susan? :P

Bree is at a restaurant with the police detective(the one that showed her the note Rex left), and apparently drinks(as usual), so the detective gives her money for her to get a cab I guess and she doesn't take it... she drives her car and we see her with police sirens blaring after that.

Lynette wants Tom to have a vastecomy.

Gabby goes wild and runs onto the porch and strips for the gardeners.

Well, that sounds like an exciting episode, except for another one of Susan's escapades. Yawn there and I used to yawn when Gabby was in a scene.

Makes ya wonder if someone doused Gabby's clothes with flea or scratching powder? That ever so sweet nun? Does she come back? Why else would she go crazy and disrobe?

The nun will be back... just not sure it's this week. I know she's back on the 22nd though. The end of her has already been filmed so we'll see it soon.

Some old pictures of Gabby will turn up on the internet, so I think the stripping has to do with that.

On closer inspection, Bree is leaving a tip at the restaurant and the detective asks if he can give her a ride home... she thinks it's some kind of high school ploy to get her back to his place.

This will be during the 2nd episode of February Sweeps.

As of now... we get two more new this month(Sunday and on the 22nd), then a repeat on the 29th. The Super Bowl is the 5th so no show... and then a Valentine's Day themed episode on the 12th. This should air February 19th:

Spoilerfix:

01/11 - We're going to meet Gaby's mother when she turns up unannounced during February sweeps and quickly drops a bombshell about her daughter. (Hint: It involves her stepdad and it's kinda dark.) Also, I'm hearing something about a health scare for either Tom or Lynette.

01/10 - One of the housewives gets a family visit, her niece and nephew are in town. They look a little shabby and people notice. A couple has a romantic dinner, and there's some persuading going on over what menu-item to choose. One of the men seems to have a medical problem for which he goes to a doctor. Another housewife has dinner at a restaurant, but she's alone and takes a cab home because of her drinking. Yet another housewife gets a visit from her mother, who's getting her all anxious (like all moms on this show).

The drinking housewife is defintely Bree... AGAIN. I guess we can connect the dots that Tom has the health scare. The romantic dinner must either be Susan and the new surgeon or there's a spoiler going around that one of the housewives wants to marry a gay guy for insurance and apparently outs him in front of his mother(which could only be Susan, Bree, Edie(unlikely), or Betty(unlikely)). The visiting mother is Gabby.

The insurance deal has to be Susan because Bree must still have insurance from Rex. Plus, it sounds like marrying a gay guy would be the Susan thing to do.

The repeat episode on the 29th is announced:

“The Sun Won’t Set” - The neighbors are panicked about the intruder loose on Wisteria Lane, Susan learns shocking news about her father at her mother’s wedding, Bree’s “engagement” to George hits a bump, and Gabrielle learns to let go, on “Desperate Housewives,” SUNDAY, JANUARY 29 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 11/20/05)

And again... no show on February 5th due to the Super Bowl.

Oh and just a few notes I forgot to mention:

Noah, Deidre's dad, and the man who was paying Mike to live on Wisteria Lane is back tonight, as well as Felicia Tillman, Martha Huber's sister, and the woman Zach attacked in the season finale.

Well that was interesting.

I was SO not expecting this apparent new Tom/Lynette plot about Tom not being happy. Next week looks interesting though.

Bree TOTALLY owned Betty when they were in her car. :slime:

But next week, they're going to find out their children are dating(and it looks like more than that).

The grand finale with the nun is next week... and my money's on Gabby. 8-)
