Yes, I was thinking the very same. The 12z Canadian and 0z Ukie look real similar now. Should they verify, Oklahoma would get hammered and the rest of us would be very unhappy (except for Jason and Wxman57!).

Trends this morning are starting to scare me a little. As far as winter precip goes. Good thing we're still 5 days out.

the Ebbs and flows! Maybe the 0z packages will shift everything to the Texas coast and you have an El paso to San Antonio to Houston stripe and everything north misses . We still have one more run to ride on this morning, yuropean.

According to the NAM/GFS, storm makes landfall Sunday. 0z runs that day will be critical.

We've tracked this storm/cold for a long while now. Even though some won't admit, after all that there's a lot of hopes riding on it (iorange55 has built up expectations slowly especially after Frank Strait) and Portastorm has promised a winter storm  . Bring it home Txagwxman!

I think you're right, txagwxman.

I fully anticipate the anxiety level in this forum to steadily rise up until the weekend when ... maybe, just maybe ... the models will converge on a solution. Until then, we'll all live and die through each cycle of model runs and search desperately for any signs of hope from forecast discussions and other spots!

The Euro suggests a suppressed Southern Storm in the making and some mighty cold air spilling S @ hour 96.
