It's concerning to see the two big bands converging on each other between Houston and Beaumont. Each of the bands clearly aren't struggling with surface convergence on their own, so combining them could really cause the rainfall to crank. This is the area high resolution guidance was zeroing in on for tonight.

Patrick V had me a little concerned about my morning commute to work. Plus that tornadic cell is moving NE from anuhac.

Where is that tornadic cell headed? I'm in Lumberton. Trouble with all of this rain is that they sound like they don't know or even maybe they don't want to say.

Both were headed east down close to I10

Just a guess, but rates will probably be similar to the band last night that was partially offshore and partially in Brazoria/Matagorda Counties. KDPs are already pretty big with both bands, and with low CC, they're extremely efficient rainmakers. Just hope it's at least a little progressive.

I've been away for awhile. This was posted about around 6PM local time.

I'm right in the middle of the 'black circle' on this map. If they are right, it could be a ling night ahead:

I can tell you SE Lumberton getting a really good dose of rain maybe for the last hour or so. The wind is really going at it. It has been constant and of course weather related signal loss on my dish.

That's what I thought. I have radarscooe and clicked on a cell inside right around anhuac and it said NE. So I guess that was a different one. Thank you.
