The numbers will change at 7:00 PM EST to coincide with 00:00z time.After the 2nd of April which is the start of daylight savings time the change will be at 8:00 PM EDT.

7-April 4=Philip J. Klotzbach/Dr William Gray April 2006 outlook. *

8-April 10-14=Hurricane Conference,Orlando,Fla.

9- April 16= Easter.

10- April 22=Earth Day.

11-April 24-28=27th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology,Monterey,California.

12-May 14=Mothers Day.

13- May 15= EPAC hurricane season starts.

14-May 21-27=Hurricane Preparedeness Week.

15-May 22=NOAA'S 2006 Hurricane Season Outlook.

16- May 29=Memorial Day.

17- May 31=Philip J. Klotzbach/Dr William Gray hours before 2006 season starts outlook.

The start of hurricane season may be here in less than 2 months but it is possible that there won't be much going on until August. That would mean we are still over 4 months away. I personally think we'll see activity as early as mid June, maybe late May in the Caribbean :wink:

Just a month or so from the first tropical system of the EPAC. From 2000 - 2005, the first system of the EPAC formed in late May. The first name will be "Aletta."

we are still burning debris. I hope they fix everything in time. as I go down the streets, I see all of these blue tarps, and I see half, if not 1/4 of a roof done, like with all of the shingles peeled off. this is going to make for one scary season.if a small hurricane comes, with not a lot of strength, it will make a lot more damage than everyone thinks.
