It was 86 here yeaterday and 82 or so today; nice and warm (and sunny :D )!

Enjoying my break so far. Only bad thing is the 3 hours I wasted this afternoon walking around the city trying to find a blasted recycling center (and resultant sunburn  ).

Bummer about your PC...hope its up soon!

Happy early birthday Josh! :O)

We spent the day in San Diego at Sea World yesterday...It was very crowded, but due to the nature of the park, wait times were minimal and it made for a great day! We got "Doused" by Shamu...drenched by the dolphins, took a wild ride through the arctic, etc...I think the Clydesdales will always be my favorite though, they are so majestic! They gave us season passes for a single days admission, so we'll be visiting again.

We drove over to Coronado Island, which was a first and found it quite charming...nice little beach town...want to check out Imperial Beach again in the daylight :O). We drove through the gaslight historic district and checked out the new "PETCO STADIUM"....pretty awesome! We also drove into Mexico to pick up a few items at the Pelican. We make the most of a day, don't we? lol Meanwhile there was a wild fire threatening Temecula...thanks again to SNOWMAN for letting us know!

Today is a less adventuresome day...taking care of business at home. Also, today is the day of Brian's Brothers funeral in Chicago.

With all the winds on the front porch of late, it is no wonder that Crouton has chosen a sheltered place there below the deck's sunny face to lie in the left over leaves that have accumulated over the winter. The occasional twitch in his body while fast asleep is surely a sign of dreams of KK's being passed around among friends...with a handout to the piggy now and then.

WOOHOO!!! Shannon's home!!!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!

Uh, are there any chocolate glazed KK"S??? :D Heck any KK will do!!!! :D Just let Crouton sleep. I'll take care of the KK's!!! I   PROMISE!!!

Nice and coolish 61º this am here in Houston, which is just about normal or a little below. We are looking at a nice week, but with more rain toward Thur/fri. We really don't need anymore than a sprinkling to keep the ground moist since we are about 5" ahead for the year.

EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Well, if the wind quits blowing for long enough, I will try to sit in a rockin' chair on the Front Porch.

HEY DENNIS... wanna come out and enjoy the wind with me?

OH mah goodness! You can tell I haven't been around lately, we're back on the front porch!!! Boy, this sure feels HEAVENLY!!

Well, I am settled into my apartment, the finishing touch will come when I take my futon off layaway, it will serve as my couch and my apartment will be whole!

Also, I have a computer now! But, before we all cheer, I bought it for very cheap from a woman at work, it was her boyfriends, and it is super old and has a problem with the mouse.... i dont know how the heck I am going to fix it, but hopefully I can before my next paycheck a week from today, because that is when I am hoping to be back online!! I can't tell you how good that will feel!! I miss y'all!

It is a gorgeous day here today! Yesterday was too, hit 86° but that came with a Wind Advisory, so I didn't really feel the heat. Sunny and in the 70's right now, but that will fade soon when showers and thunderstorms push in ahead of a strong cold front that will put us near record lows this weekend! Ugh, I think I will be staying off the porch then, unless of course one of you has an extra blanket! We're supposed to rebound by mid next week though so I won't throw a fit!

Well, my library time limits me, so I gotta run, but it feels great to be back out here! I brought some German Chocolate cake in with me from work, hope y'all enjoy- take care!
