I sent what I could yesterday. I'd seriously would love to be able to send even more to get your guys are real good hookup with a constant database without problems during these peak times, but if I did that, I probably wouldn't be able to afford anything until I'm 65. :)

We are still working on the issues. A couple of the problems today were because we were trying some things. Hang in there and we appreciate every penny that's been donated! :-)

This is site has a lot of potential, and hopefully the donations will help you overcome your hardware limitations.

Delighted to help ..

Great forum. I've been reading the last couple of days and have found it very helpful. I'm very glad to make a contribution because you've given me a lot. I hope lots more Floridians help you out.

I couldn't believe HurricaneAlley.net went pay in the middle of Frances. I wouldn't have minded giving them a contribution (even though they have a terrible looking site and so rarely update it) but I feel like they've taken advantage of us right before Frances hits. Surely, if he'd just asked for more donations, many people would have come through for him.

Anyway, I'm very glad you did things you way you did here at this forum. Bravo!

Thanks again,

Siobhan

Donation

#55 Postby Betrock » Mon Sep 06, 2004 4:09 pm

In the lull between Frances and Ivan, I have gladly donated to the cause.

One of the essential things about this site is that when all the servers are jammed, someone here finds the latest info and posts it - it's a life-saver!

Thanks,

I don't know if any of our donations have been put to use yet, but I am getting excellent response these days, and I'm glad of the improvement.

Thanks for making whatever changes were made last week.
