It's a shame to even think this, but most S.W. La. residents are hoping to repay the favor in a Texas time of need since they were so neighborly. The problem is.............we just aren't that type and when it came down to it we'd give them the shirt off of our backs to keep another human being warm.
It's nothing against you kind Texas folks here on this board. I have no doubt that you personally wouldn't do this but it was done and it did cause alot of hardship during our last evacuation.
I had no idea, what an awful thing to do...that is downright un-American.
