Mid June, around the 20th. Tropical storm in the Bay of Campeche, don't think it'll become a hurricane. Early, I know! Just my thoughts.

The later the better, I want to be here when it gets really active, like early August, but I actually prefer mid to late August, but the first official tropical storm will probably form late June or early July. The first hurricane by late July or early august, I hope.

Typically an Atlantic June storm forms every other year.

1953: TS Alice (formed in May)
1954: Hurricane Alice (Category 1)

1966: Hurricane Alma (Category 3)
1968: Hurricane Abby (Category 1), Hurricane Brenda (Category 1), & TS Candy
1972: Hurricane Agnes (Category 1)
1975: TS Amy
1979: TS Ana
1981: TS Bret
1982: Hurricane Alberto (Category 1)
1986: TS Andrew & Hurricane Bonnie (Category 1)
1989: TS Allison
1991: TS Ana
1993: TS Arlene
1994: TS Alberto
1995: Hurricane Allison (Category 1)
1996: TS Arthur
1997: TS Ana
1999: TS Arlene
2001: TS Allison

Actually, it doesn't included leap years since all but one of the storms over the past 50 years occurred after February, making the leap-day very insignificant. (One did occur in January, but it was a non-leap year.)
