A broad low pressure area has formed. I see it is centered near 25.1 north/94.9 west. But it is elongated down to 24.5/96 west. Really interesting system.

1006 mililbars it appears to be. If this baby can pull that broad center more under that convection. In if it tightens up. I think there is a chance???

Maybe--they do have the floater on the system sounds like they are at least watching it.

This looks like a non-tropical low at best. Add the dry air that's
all around and in it, and there's not going to be much.

We got Blobbed this morning at 6:30 am. It was loud from thunder and lightening, it had pea sized hail hitting my bedroom window, and it moved through in a line that probably had tornadic winds in the upper levels. I have not heard of any storm damage to this point. It is a steady fine tropical type rain now with breezy conditions. The worst of it looks as though it has past.
