Whether that be fires, snows, tornados, hurricanes, or whatever. -While storm stories is playing in the rest of the country, that is when they can really dedicate teh time to show what to expect locally and hwo the weather is developing, etc. It would be nice to see them return to explaining the weather and why they forecast certain events again. If they showed regionally significant reporting over that hour long programming slot, they would be able to really educate the locals on their own weather patterns.
Rest assured, TWC is doing ongoing updates for extreme southern Texas through an "alternate feed," where Storm Stories is NOT running and is being temporarily cut off. Storm Stories is still going on for the rest of the country.

If you've a problem with TWC, then why not write a letter to them explaining why they should cancel Storm Stories? They should reply to you, and hopefully give a compromise or an offer to you.
Of course, I haven't cause I really don't care. I know when Storm Stories is on, so I just don't turn to that channel when it is on. Simple as that. If there's a major weather event occurring, I get ticked but I forget about it.
