I've had my times where being frustrated and said some not nice or maybe flat out flaming/bashing, which I do apologize for for anyone involved, but I think use of term above is very offensive and should be strongly discouraged. In fact probably a lot more disrespect there than in many other posts here which are being criticized.

Sorry, but thats just my personal feelings along with religious beliefs.

I never said that, and that is another thing that is annoying on this board...people putting words in other's mouths.

The people who do not know as much about weather come here to learn, which is a good thing. This is a great place to learn more about tropical cyclones, etc.

The problem is a select few who find it acceptable to post sensationalist drama or unfounded, non-scientific data/forecasts/bold statements without presenting evidence.

Hey if ya got an issue take it up with the admins and moderators...but dont dictate and lecture other posters, let the folks who run this board handle it if they feel something needs to change!!

My two cents to Dr. Hurricane:

I read through the whole thread and had time to think out my post before banging on the keyboard.

Your post was also offensive to me.
I am an amateur and learning from this board and find it an amazing resource.
I do make a few one line posts to ask questions and don't give a hoot about post count or levels; don't even know what the criteria is for the levels.

Your rambling post and ranting was very condescending to an amateur like myself. It basically is telling those of us who are not Pro Mets to shut up and not spread "bovine fecal matter" (a cute phrase that you overused).

PLEASE let the Mods do their job, report to them posters you find to be out of line (I have done it several times; QUIETLY).

Please, please, please; spare us your lectures
Go punch a wall or something.

Oh, and I made a statement about ignoring someone and I WILL be true to my word (in case you were accusing me).

Well *I'm sorry* but like I said, people who come here to learn are PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE...so in other words, I wasn't talking to you...since you come here to learn...so I don't know why on earth you find it *offensive*.

I'm on my edge right now and am this | | far away from leaving this board (at least the rambling tropics forum) until it gets cleaned up. I don't know, I might not go anywhere else...I might just make a website at PSU and post my forecasts there.
