marcd - the 'scientific meteorological content' is found under the first discussion group - tropical analysis.
people take flights of fancy into this kind of discussion because the enormity of the MUCH bigger problems is overwhelming. same reason people go see scary movies. give us a break. it's just a friendly discussion. :wink:
