Heard some interesting stats on MSNBC just a few minutes ago, as of this morning, 13 July.....over 235 MILLION people have now signed up......hmmmm, does this tell us just what a problem this really is?? Also....out of some 2.1 million ppl employed in the telemarketing business, over 50-60% will be layed off in the next 6 months. Major companies like All State Insurance, AETNA, Prudential have already started the layoffs and have switched marketing techniques, such as.........."SPAM" on the internet.....See, they're gonna get us ANYWAYS!

Allstate has been downsizing for years!! Anyone who is insured with Allstate need to seek another insurance company and QUICK!!

At least with spam, you do not have to get up and answer the phone, nor do you have to listen to their sales pitch. You can just hit the delete button. lol.

LOL Linda, how true.....

Now as far as All State, after last years Rodeo Fire, All State along with Statewide Ins pulled completly out of Az....too many claims.

Ya know........I'm sorry, I feel bad for these folks loosing their jobs, 99.9% of the time, it's not their choice to be a telemarketer but yet in the same breath, I can't wait to be able to sit down at the supper table and not run to the caller ID to see who's calling.

It is not the claims they are running from Dennis, trust me. They lost out in the stock market because of Sept. 11th. State Farm is guilty too. They use "claims" as a way to cover their arses.

Now that you mentioned caller ID Dennis... maybe they will become a thing of the past too. LOL. Now that they can't call we do not have to run and look to see who it is, ya know? lol. That is the only reason I have my caller ID is to be sure I do not answer an "unavailable" call. hee hee
