yeah I agree with wxmann...I think this would be an f3 at best. I think this one storm we got here in MN back in 97 might classify as a f4...it was in the 60s one day with a weak serial derecho in Iowa and wisconsin and then the next day the high was like 12 degrees...now THAT is a strong storm...it was also a 977 mb low.
and regarding what wxmann said about waiting for my opinion early on in this thread...sorry I was too busy tracking the snowy-side of the storm in the weather wx thread...although it was a major bust...haha. But anyway, I did comment on it in the winter thread, and i mentioned that I thought northeast arkansas, southeast missouri and southern illinois would have the brunt of severe weather with hail and isolated wind damage with a few tornadoes...only one tornado was reported but to be honest I wasnt to excited about the tornado threat to begin with I was just going by what spc was saying since they had a 10% area out and the skies were clear, so I was concerned about the potential.
Possible Severe weather Thursday for Midwest.
