something like a possible spider bite is not really for the dermatologist (sure they could probably treat it)...dermatologists are notoriously backed up appt. wise. i would hit the ER or the walk-in clinic (Urgent care as my insurance calls it). at least you pretty much get treated right away....

I'd go to the ER then. It is an infection which NEEDS to be treated.

Is there someone at work that can recommend a doctor to you?

I did get a hold of the doctor. I have an appt at 8:20am tomorrow. I will let you know asap what it is.
