Well thanks... LOL... Actually I wish I could get it a little larger with better res. I'll work on it. Originally, I wanted it to show some peeps with whom I was having a discussion something about the incredible massive size of Katrina, which gets lost in all the devastation talk (understandably). I mean that IS a NOAA IR image, and it clearly shows bands from the storm INLAND almost to the Alabama/Tennessee border to the north...(and you can see this is well BEFORE landfall!!!) and the southern bands brushing the Yucatan... to the east her outermost bands completely cross the peninsula of Florida, and to the west, she's well into Texas and not far from Mexico... if that isn't one of the largest Gulf storms on record... I'd sure like to know what was. Anyway, I digress (as is my wont... :wink:

) I used photoshop and did my own color enhancement of the only radar shot of Hurricane Audrey I could find.... and put Audrey above it... 2 below... then this one (the Avatar) for Katrina...but no-WAY to fit that sucker with just 15KB... maybe one day I'll learn how to better thumbnail something like that.

I might just give that a try... 'cause the two of 'em over and under showing both actual hurricane shots really looks 'neat! (Okay I'm biased..)

Hey, this is the place to start off the season. It is done every year and the room will be packed.

So you better come if you know what is good for you..... for those of you who have not come to the Storm2k chatroom before or those who just hate chatrooms, once you come and see what is going on and all the fun, you will definately be hooked.

Thought you were hooked with the forums, you just wait and see how you will get hooked with the chatroom too.
