I know this video has been posted here before, but it's the best one
I've seen of the surge on the Biloxi coast.
What is the best Hurricane Katrina video?

Katrina made landfall as a Cat. 3, not a strong Cat. 4.max wrote:I saw some of then guy's video caught in Empire, LA for free a few days ago! First time I have ever seen it too! Its where Hurricane Katrina directly hit with her eastern eye wall when she was a strong Cat. 4 hurricane! At her meanest and most powerful wind wise and of course storm surge wise as well. So they had a double blow.

I highly doubt they could withstand 600mph winds. The dome home in Pensacola can only withstand 200-250mph winds. 600mph winds would destroy everything in their path.max wrote:I wish I could of been in one of the lighthouses as Hurricane Katrina came in!
They didn't fall because their round like round houses which can survive up to 600 mph winds!

Wrong.
Hurricane Katrina made her first landfall as a Cat. 4 then her second landfall as a Cat. 3

The NHC downgraded Katrina to a Cat. 3 for BOTH landfalls.
