I'm standing by my personal forecast on that thread. I keep staring at the loops of the Steering Product and just can't see this turning poleward till it gets its act together which I believe will be nearly past the tip of Cuba.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but is this thing going south of DR? It sure looks like it on some of those sat images.

Doesn't look like it in the satellite loop posted above ( http://rammb.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis ... is_floater ).

I believe 92L will generate a closed LLC south of the island overnight in the deeper convection as I believe the LLC to date has been very broad and ill-defined.

I think the Fl panhandle or possibly as far west as AL could have issues. ...but somewhere along the west coast of FL would be my guess...

A little Bold statment for a pro. From a non pro is par for the corse. That would really up set a few people. Would make some who really don't have the money go out and buy things when they could use it on their bills. Some people don't think like that. I think till NHC knows where the center is I wouldn't say where it could go.

Sorry if I steped out of place.

For you all in the Islands I hope you stay safe.

Dr. Jeff Masters agreed with me on what I was saying last night.

From his blog: Well, I was right on when I dubbed the tropical disturbance 92L "The Joker" earlier this week. I don't recall ever seeing a system that looked this good on satellite imagery not technically qualify as a tropical depression.

------------

Exactly what i was saying, Its Fay, But not so because of a technicality, (not defined LLC enough to make the NHC make the call.)

What that shows me is a weak decaying, IMO, old LLCC seperating faster and faster from the strong MLC which is still over the SE part of the island. I stand by my elongated POSSIBLE LLCC comment posted above.

If you think about it, it is going to go over land now all of hispaniola and probably a lot of cuba, this will guarantee it will not get stronger and will probably weaken a lot and be disorganized, so it will likely not get influenced by the pull north, till it gets into the GOM, where it could regenerate and then get pulled north, so yeah, west coast of florida to LA not out of possibility.
