Is there EVER a possibility that the Low could split and form two LLC's? One North and one South?

That would be fun but unlikely.

That's what I see too. To me...the total circulation is finally getting going over the E and SE part of the island.

18N, 69.1W would put the west wind just south of the eastern tip of the DR. That would mean that the center is slightly further north, likely just over the tip of the DR...

I think the Fl panhandle or possibly as far west as AL could have issues. ...but somewhere along the west coast of FL would be my guess...

A little Bold statment for a pro. From a non pro is par for the corse. That would really up set a few people. Would make some who really don't have the money go out and buy things when they could use it on their bills. Some people don't think like that. I think till NHC knows where the center is I wouldn't say where it could go.

Sorry if I steped out of place.

For you all in the Islands I hope you stay safe.

Geez, the pro mets here can't catch a break...They are asked over and over again where they THINK it will be going and one is kind enough to answer with his opinion and then someone acts as if he shouldn't of given it.... Keep in mind he used the word "could"...he didn't say it was written in stone..

That'd be cool, but it would pretty much end any chance of real development would it not?

How ironic that its starting to get its act together now as it interacts with land.If it can survive the islands still relatively intact,it could become a hurricane yet.The GOM has plenty of juice

Based on the west wind that was found? Is that enough to make a special statement?

i smell an upgrade to Fay very shortly based on recent recon, radar, and surface obs all point to a landfalling storm with winds of 45-50.

It just seems that some people get upset with the Mets if they give an answer that they don't want to hear...
