Yes, Euro is showing snow for us (SE Texas) on Friday, is it not?

I believe it is. It seems like the models are trending in the right direction for us! Can anyone confirm?

Yes it is, and that's for Dallas. I wonder if that means we might get into the single digits up north?

Well here's to hoping we get at least an inch of snow here so we have something pretty to look at for a few days.

Looks like the latest GFS is a bit warmer for my part of Louisiana. Not sure if we ever get to freezing in that run. It doesn't seem to match up with this, which shows highs in the 30's:

Maybe that link is always a run behind?

Ok, forgive me but I think people are talking about a few things on the board this morning. The front moving in now, it's the not big one right? Are we still looking at ice/snow/sleet on Tuesday? And what is going on later this week? I think that I am getting confused or it's the fact I have no clue. :(

Just to let you guys in Texas know what is headed in your direction...

From the Denver Hazardous Weather Outlook:

CERTAINLY THE COLDEST AIR OF THE WINTER AND PERHAPS THE COLDEST AIR
IN MORE THAN 12 YEARS IS STILL ON THE WAY FOR THE OUTLOOK AREA

From the Denver AFD:

DENVER`S RECORD LOW MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE
FOR TUESDAY... FEBRUARY 1ST...IS PLUS 2 F. THAT MAY BE IN DANGER.

>>>>>

Our high temp forecast on Tuesday in -3. Funny, we nearly had a record high a few days ago of almost 70F!

That's THE front, the leading edge of the Canadian air. There will be a reinforcing shot that will arrive on Tuesday to sweep the front offshore.

Doesn't look like Wichita falls or OKC makes their high today. RUC is off on positioning it. Has freezing line in southern Kansas and it's in middle Oklahoma.

Yes we're still looking at some type of wintry precip on Tuesday. How much? Who knows. As of right now it doesn't look like it's going to be a big event here, but as you know it doesn't take much to turn into one. Also we could get more than expected.

Later in the week I haven't looked at too much.

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

Its heading your way. Some parts of Oklahoma have experienced a 50 degree drop in the last 24 hours. With Ardmore droping 30 from this time yesterday.. All in due time...

As much as I love the cold and winter months, it has surely been nice saving on heating costs these past couple of days.

Will definitely not be the case in the coming days.

And one other thing,,make sure u all get some good sleep tonight cause we will all be up late tomorrow night.
