I have to say that I am not surprised that Sanjaya didnt go home, again.... though I think his time is or should be about up!! I was upset of Stephanie going home, but to me her voice is so much like Beyonce.... We already have a Beyonce and Stephanie (to me) isnt original enough...? Dont know if that makes sense? I also heard that Howard Stern is telling all of his listeners to vote for Sanjaya to prove Simon wrong... Ill see if I can find anything that supports that rumor....

OK... here is the link and the story... http://www.howardstern.com/rundown.hs

THE SANJAYA REVOLUTION CONTINUES
Howard started today saying that he stayed up until 10 o’clock last night, just so he could vote for Sanjaya on “American Idol,” although he admitted that for some reason he didn’t think Sanjaya would make the cut this week. Howard then took a call from a man who claimed he voted for Sanjaya 75 times while Howard added his favorite “contestant” yesterday was Sanjaya’s sister, who was sitting in the crowd, and talked about some really hot photographs of her he had seen. Mike Gange then said he voted for Sanjaya about 10 times last night, but wasn’t sure his votes counted because he got through each time without a problem.

Eric the Midget called in and Gary asked him if he sent Ryan Seacrest an e-mail about Howard’s plan to get Sanjaya voted as the next “American Idol.” Although Eric admitted he did send Ryan such a message, he refused to get onto his e-mail account to read it on the air. However, Eric did say the gist of his e-mail was to get Ryan to “combat” Howard, while adding he voted for his favorite “American Idol” contestant, LaKisha, “as many times as he could” during the voting hours last night.

After Howard referred to Eric as “an ingrate” for attempting to “snitch” on him to Ryan, Gary noted Eric was now refusing to take part in the wrestling trivia challenge he had lined up for him, mainly because there was no prize if he won. Gary then commented that he asked Eric to come up with a list of demands for the contest, but Eric replied he wouldn’t do that because he assumed he wouldn’t get what he wanted no matter what was on his list.

Howard went on to take calls from listeners who said they voted hundreds of times for Sanjaya before playing a clip of his performance last night of the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me.” Following even more calls from people who talked about how many times they voted for Sanjaya, Howard announced that he felt “the fix was in” if Sanjaya didn’t advance to the next round.

I didn't either tropicana, but I knew the song. I had heard of Peter Noone before but I didn't associate him with "There's a Kind of Hush". Both sounded great!

I swear, I only tune in to this show on the weird days. How come my shows are reruns when the weird performances are shown? LOL!

Seriously, what was up with the hair? Why is he still there?

Ooh, "True Colors" -- good song. I saw Cyndi Lauper perform it live in concert. Awesome! I can't say this girl is doing it justice though.

According to Simon, Sanjaya didn't have a mirror in his dressing room!

Man o'man...Melinda really shows her range. She's terrific! I think she's the best!

Does it really matter???

Lakisha, Melinda, Phil and Gina were awesome.

I'm not a big Gwen Stefani fan - I'm showing my age, I guess... I was like WHO'S COACHING???? She's giving constructive criticism but...

I guess they're trying to reach the contestants to try and let them select songs that they can relate to.

Is that who that is? LOL! Guess I'm showing my age also. I thought it was another contestant. Since I haven't been watching, I just sort of figured they were having some sort of peer critique thing going on.

Melinda was AMAZING and INCREDIBLE. I actually thought everyone was good, except Sanjaya(Ugh, he needs to GO! But isn't he entertaining? LOL).

Gina was hot once again. :P

That was perfect for her! I also love that song as well. :D

LOL Duckie! I've seen her - how can you miss her as she's plastered all over the tabloids along with Britney, etc. I WILL SAY that she does seem to have her head on straight. It's just that her music isn't my cup of tea.

I thought I knew what she looked like. LOL!

I watched it again (not the whole show, but a scene or two with GS to figure out how I missed it). I guess when she cleans up, looks conservative, and isn't singing, I don't recognize her. She just looked like your regular all-American blonde hottie. Seriously, she's actually quite attractive when she's not all made up like she normally (?) looks.

[marq=right]Sanjaya still needs to go!!! Sanjaya still needs to go!!! Sanjaya still needs to go!!! Sanjaya still needs to go!!! Sanjaya still needs to go!!! Sanjaya still needs to go!!![/marq]

IMO, Jordin, Gina, Blake and Phil made all the otheres look lackluster tonight. I would place Gina and Blake as the top two tonight. I agree with Simon, we will probably see Blake in the finale.

I wore my hair like Sanjaya today!!!!! Everyone loves it!

Melinda such a terrific singer!!!! In fact everyone except Sanjaya sounded good.

I thing Chris Sligh will go tonight. You know I think if LaKisha doesn't pick up the pace she will be in trouble too.
