It switched over right with that CC line. How interesting. See some flakes now. Not heavy, but there is more out west still, not just the solid shield we had this morning, but I will take it.

Also, that line out in the western parts of Parker and Wise counties is starting to crank.

I'm going to take my phone outside for a little bit so y'all can see the flakes flying
Hmmm. All I can see is someone trying to steal your car??

Re: Texas Winter 2024-2025
Getting heavier! Yay. Will be nice to have some fresh snow hopefully on top of the dang rain that made the earlier snow mushy.
That line at the end around Weatherford looks heaviest, which often seems to be the case in my experience, you get a heavy burst right before it ends. Anybody know why?
Hopefully it takes its time moving.

Not over yet but kind of underperformed here too... The original lower predictions were better I think

One thing I will say, if it's any consolation, for the "snowcover" fans.
What's nice about all of this water soaking into the snow/sleet is that once it does freeze over, it's going to be like a glazier and won't melt nearly as easily.

Re: Texas Winter 2024-2025
Sleet with a few snowflakes now in the 'Vine.... friends in Trophy Club say mostly snow that way so the freeze line seems like it's moving back to the east/southeast

Can confirm heavy snow in the last band sad that it looks like it’s ending soon

I'm going to take it down for the night and if tomorrow morning is just amazing I'll stand it back up and stream some of the morning shots.
Thank you to everyone who tuned in and was able to enjoy it. I'm glad I was able to provide that to you all.

Looks like HRRR is in agreement now that this is the last band. So looks like I maybe got an inch of snow oh well something better than nothing.
