Yes... I have noticed that trend in the models as well.

Less ridging and even some troughing WITH cold air now on Saturday.

Very interesting.

Should be interesting, hope it happens! Who knows though, seems like the models have been completely clueless this winter. I did notice the AO is going fairly negitive fairly quickly, wish Brennan was around, he is the expert on PNA, AO's that stuff. I remember him saying that if PNA and AO both negitive, then we have a great chance of being very cold.

We have warmed up to a whopping 22.3 degrees!

Kitsap will not likely fair very well... major shadowing by the Olympics over there.

The NWS forecast indicates a potential for 6+ inches in North Bend... I will believe it when I see it!!

R-Dub...
You said the snow has began falling at your local. Just checked Seattle NWS Radar....and I see no precip what so ever. Guess radar is not picking them up yet. -- Andy

Yeah must be too light for radar to pick up, it got pretty dark about 45Min ago, and the flakes started about 10Min ago. Pretty cool, 4 days in a row of snow falling!!!

I hope so TT! Its really starting to come down now, little tiny flakes, not the big ones of the last few day. Anybody know what that means?

Well I would say that means that the air mass still may be a little dry, yet moist enought to produce tiny snow flakes. -- Andy

I tried to take a couple of pics, but they didn't turn out very well, must be too dark out :( I don't know how to post them anyway. Still coming down, and no temp change yet. Hope it keeps up!!

R-Dub... the only way to post pictures here is to have them out on the web. You can only link to a web site address.

You cannot directly post files on here unlike Yahoo.

I will give it a shot over at Yahoo. The only change here is the dewpoint has come up to 30.1 degrees, temp still 31 degrees and light snow.

The little tiny flakes are still falling at a pretty good clip. Just starting to get a light coating of the fresh stuff.
