ok quick question here.

How come when you run a GFDL model run on katrina it shows the storm heading towards the panhandle:

but when you run the 97l it shows katrina doing au-turn and hitting MUCH further east?

Seems like 2 different solutions?

According to Max Mayfield on CBS 4 now, they are typing up the report to elevate Katrina to HURRICANE status, based upon sat and radar.
