Wet, cool here; "firehead" is going to Six Flags near St. Louis due to his "Honor Student" status today, but he may be "rained out" of the rides...oh, well, there's a lot more than rides to see and do, or so I'm told (never been there...or to any "theme park", for that matter).

"It's raining, it's pouring...the Nannerbelle's whoring..."

Dennis, you can come get this excess moisture, IF you and MEE-chelle send me some of that "Arizona Environment" I've been asking for...O'tay?

O'TAY Bill, ask and it shall be done!

Howdy one and all, sorry for the absence of late, I was offline for a coupla days, had a bad case of the blues, don't know why??? Everything in my life is fine, must be "that time of the month!" "LOL!" Nooooo, I get this way 2-3 times a year, I think it has to do with the changing of the seasons. I LOVE winter but this winter for some reason was a bit**, I think had I been able to ski more, sled, tubing, ya know, all the fun winter stuff, I wouldn't be so down about it, this stupid FOOT is still giving me fits. That's another reason I think for my doom and gloom, the weather is kinda nice now, temps in the low 60's with light winds, I've got a new set of golf clubs sitting in the office here that are STILL in the wrappers!!

AH WELL, this too shall pass, got BEANO??? "LOL!" ANYWAYS....hope this finds everyone doing well, it's time to go Miracle Grow the flower beds and veggie garden, make it a GREAT Friday would ya?

Wow its finally Friday here on the Front Porch - seems like this week has lasted forever. I am so ready for the weekend. I am having one of them do nothing weekends.

The weather here in my neck of the woods is warm and partly cloudy - could reach into the high 80's or even hinted at some 90's.

But I have a list of things that must be done this weekend. One is to finish the newsletter for the website and prepare for the big secret to be unveiled next week!!!! Is anyone curious about it??? I know :-)

God Bless.

Hello to everyone on the Front Porch today! 8)

Sure I am interested in knowing what the surprise is, ticka. Sounds like something really fun to see here on Storm2K. :D

The temperature here is all the way up to 89 degrees!! The sky is overcast, at least to the northwest and north; perhaps those thunderstorms to my northwest will move southeastward and give me some nice rain, even some severe weather... those storms look nasty on radar.

Not much for not, just thought I'd check in and make an appearance with all the great Storm2K folks. :D

See everyone around...

Hi everyone,

:D Has this been the longest week in history or what????? Boy, ticka, I'm glad it's over too.

Hey Bill, how the heck are ya. I see Annabelle is still playing "tricks".

Dennis, hold on just a little bit longer. (Hey that's a song!!!) Consistently warm weather is on its way.

Furry, I sure hope you are better today. That's miserable, but as you said the kids probably really enjoyed it. ((Hugs))

Ok David, I'm here now what?????jk jk jk

Pojo, don't study too hard. I thought of you yesterday when I was at my local gardening shop. They had a Jackson Perkins Habitat for Humanity Rose Bush!!!!!! I think they should have named it Pojo!!!!!! It was a slow grower. jk

Well, Hi's to everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mine will be spent gardening. I can't wait.

Take care

Ok, I'm back.

Yes, it has been a while. I really haven't been posting anywhere too much. Like Dennis I had the blues and cabin fever. Shook that off and now am having a ball working outside.

Ticka, there's nothing like a good glass of Chardonnay and a shovel!!!!!!!!
I love it!!!

Have fun this weekend. I'll send down some wine!!!!

Hello Karan, welcome back. I am very glad you are feeling better. :) I see you made your last post, thirty-eight days ago.

I look forward to you posts.

Thunderstorms getting closer and closer with gusty winds. Chad, Bronwyn and myself may be in for some pretty active weather in the next 1/2 to 3 hours.

Yep Tom.. I just got whomped just now, with some nasty wind, hail and very heavy rainfall. Looks like it has come to an end for now, I seem to be in a dry slot.

Hey ya'll. Been a dry sunny windy here, beautiful to be exact! Hope everyone has a great weekend. We're staying home this weekend and I'm going to have to start packing some time...I HATE packing!
Thanks for the prayers yesterday. I was alot better by nightfall lastnight. I think the undercooked pork medallions did me in!

Well, it sure is breezy out here on the porch - my hammock
chair is swaying, and, I don't know how long that I can sit out
here before another storm moves through!

Chardonnay? Hmmm...I'll take an Amaretto, please...

Everyone have a good evening, and, take care!

I'll try...most of my studying will come all day Sunday...midterms are either DUE or NEED TO BE TAKEN on Monday. The one that's due is a no-brainer! The other one is pretty much also, but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. As for the Rose...They are pretty!!! The proceeds go to help out HfH! Each time you buy that particular rose...a portion of the money goes right to HfH!!

Speaking of Habitat...the Youth Build house is moving along nicely...the whole first floor is framed...and we are putting on the trusses tomorrow morning. Its a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 story house. 45* angle roof...those are my favorite! :D Yup, everyone associated with Habitat thinks I'm crazy! Oh well. It's hard work, but I have fun. But before hand (tonight) we have Shantytown, where students sleep in boxes for homeless awareness. Its a fun time, but it will be COLD...lows tonight expected around 32* (Last year was colder!) :o

Furry...I'm glad you are feeling better. :)

I'm with Breeze...pass the Amaretto! :D

Ticka...have fun 'playin' in the garden ;)

Bronni and Tom...hang in there...you guys are in for some nasty weather!!! Send some my way...I'd love to have the big boomers!

You sure sound busy, Shannon. It will be hard to stay warm with temperatures near freezing!!

As you can see to the left, :) ---> Thunderstorms have resumed here in the last half hour or so, after just some showery rains around 5:00pm ET and 6:00pm ET. The thunderstorms were pretty close this afternoon.

The Severe Thunderstorm Warnings (and a couple Tornado Warnings) where to my west, northwest, north and northeast this afternoon. As some you may have read in the USA Weather forum there was a Severe Thunderstorm Watch up for central Florida until 7:00 PM Eastern. :)

Bill, No French, I buy Australian or Californian Chardonnay. You know me better than that!!!!!! I don't even eat french fries anymore!!!!

I'm tired from gardening and think I will take a bubble bath and hit the hay!!!! You know I'm originally from West Virginia and when I say Hit the Hay I mean Hit the Hay!!!!!lol

Good Night All

Hello Karan, HUGS!

Ya know, we're going on a cruiseliner later in the year that was French built, originally named the France, and we're sailing to St. Maarten half of which is French....lol. If the whole family hadn't booked 8 rooms, we'd prob. cancel that one! What do we do? The beach we want to go to is on the French side....Help! lol
