Yeah my guess is we're headed toward something in between but let's see what the Euro does and whether it follows the AI with more QPF along with the ensembles. Pretty good trend so far however tonight no question.

Can we just lock in that cmc run, throw away the key and crown it as the world’s greatest model? I know that won’t happen but I can dream.

GFS has pretty marginal temps Tuesday for the Houston area but from past experience it is likely too warm by at least a few degrees.

Even though the GFS isn’t as crazy as the CMC , it still has widespread 6-10 inches for most of se texas, this event has a pretty high ceiling

Not even counting the CMC, but take either the EURO or the GFS would be shutdown events.

Was actually less impressive overall than 18z GEFS.

Good trends though the last half of today. Hopefully we can keep them going.

That was from a few years ago before it got better with the tropics. But he’s back for a holiday visit.

6-8 inches on that euro run in downtown houston, makes you wonder what the short range guidance may show if the globals are already spitting out 6+ inches of snow
