By the way, Harlingen in the same boat, but deterministic showing them getting 3" of snow.

What about DFW or is McAllen near DFW.

And then the flip/flop (no pun intended) 18z flips us back to the warmer weather along with a side of severe storms. The GFS that is.

Surprisingly the Euro and GFS are starting to come into decent agreement showing two winter storms crossing the southern plains next week, one on Tuesday and the other around Thursday/Friday time frame

I never knew that grass can be so slippery even when it's extremely dry, A quite a few players from my football team slipped while running gassers. And could some one tell me what the 18z Euro is saying for North Texas. Thanks.

FTW AFD is calling for rain events next week, but has issued a bear watch. It seems to me we are well into the "lose it" phase of the find-it, lose-it, find-it pattern of the GFS.

The Euro, CMC, and UKMET only run 2 times a day at 0z and 12z. The GFS and NAM run 4 times a day at 0z, 6z, 12z, and 18z.

I have no idea what you said in your first sentence. You have hand tools on your football team with gas cans slipping on dry grass? ;-) Anyway, there is no 18Z European run, only 00Z and 12Z. The 00Z run will be completed around 1:30am tomorrow.

gassers are a type of running we do to help stay in shape. And no I don't drink. (i'm still in high school.)
And of the many years I have been following weather (not nearly as many as people like wxman57) I never knew there wasn't an 18z Euro, I just kind of assumed there was. I learnt something new to day. :D

:uarrow: 57 was referring to you misspelling "players" as "pliers". Hence the "hand tool" comment. :D
