Captain Midnight on deck, Arrgghh! Standing watch-on-watch wi' ship's poogle puppy, Annabelle (she be a ho'), as the new day is soon to dawn aboard the good ship "Bootheel", Arrgghh!

Me weather eye is cast westward; after taking Her Royal Poogleness out fer a constitutional, nothing but heavy, black clouds formed up an' eager to be at us. Ship's crew below decks sawin' logs this night; TV fare not worth me time, save fer a brief visit with Captain O'Reilly on board the "No Spin Zone", Arrgghh! Charter Cable went on the fritz, and all of the channels are "to be announced"; no tellin' where the tube will take us less'n we gits some bearings, Arrgghh!

Soon to be adrift in slumber meself, once the first mate rises...may have PC turned off this day due to unfavorable seas later on.

Have to lay aft fer th' dog food...she's "a-whoring" agin, Arrgghh!

Hope you guys in the severe weather watch boxes are hanging onto your hats! Stay safe friends.

PANT PANT.. I just want a few sprinkles to cool us down here a bit. Think I will slap on some sunscreen, the bikini and hat and go make myself look like I live in Florida. Take care guys :) Im off to bake myself for a bit.

It's 4:20 am...and the only watch box in this hood is the one to check on our flight out of town. We'll be in IL the next time I check in. Leave Phx at 6:40 this morning!

Looks like I might get a glimpse of some Midwest weather action sometime during my trip...but for today the big boomers will be off the right wing as we fly into Chicago.

This is SW Airlines we're on, so I'll give you a full report if pilots show up unclothed!

Be safe everyone.

Garrett first glad that you are fine after that severe weather event there but on thursday you will have another round so keep an eye to the sky there and be safe.

Also I say to you good luck on those final exams. :)

Good luck on your finals Garrett! I'm sure it must be difficult trying to get back into your regular routine after what you just went through. Take care!

Have a safe trip poppysky!

breeze - Looks like you'll need to row row row your boat to work today. Thankfully the rain should taper off later today.

I salute Her Royal Poogleness (she be a brave 'ho).

Happy Hump Day!

Good Luck on your finals Garrett, Pojo and all the others that are studying feverishly all week and over the weekend.

Today is Hump Day here at work - two more days of work after today.

Weather is hot and muggy and so summerlike here on May 7th.

Have a Good Day.

Thanks everyone. My house finally has some power so my posting will be on a more consistent basis, although somewhat limited, for now.

I hope the storms tomorrow are not as bad as Sunday, but some mets on tv have been making comparisons.

It was a beautiful day today.

Glad to hear that you have power again, Garrett. :D

I had a good day today. We had some brief light showers today :D , but they didn't amount to more than a trace. (j/k about  ing. ;) )

Last night I fell asleep at about 7:10 PM and didn't wake up until 10:25 PM. That made me stay up until about 3:25 AM this morning. :o Good thing I woke up with the alarm and didn't go back to bed! :o Luckily I'm not fatigued yet. ;)

I wish we could have some warmer weather for a change. :( I'm tired of this dreary crud. :( *pouts*

Y'all have a great evening. Joshua

Nice easy 2 hr 40 min flight from Sky Harbor to Chicago Midway. Only clear spot along the way was between Kansas City and Jefferson City MO...so I looked hard for tornado damage from 35,000' Could not spot any though.

Glad to hear Garrett that power was all that was lost in your neck of the woods.

Will have breakfast at Cracker Barrel tomorrow morning with family...and see other friends and family for the next days. Some good storms and rains possible here for Thursday through the weekend, so I might get to see some Midwest turbulence while I am here.

Won't be on line quite as much. We only have dial up here and only one line. Don't want to tie up the phone too long.

For those who want to know where I am...I think it is lat 89.11 west and 36.42 north. If that puts me near Rockford IL...then my recollection is correct. Otherwise, let me know if I am in the middle of Lake Michigan!

yep, studying has begun...I have a 8am chem lab tomorrow and haven't even started the lab that is due. Last lab of the semester!!!

I had a long day at work...don't ask!

the Plywood is completely up at the Youth Build house in Green Bay. We finished that tonight in the midst of the showers that fell on the Fox Cities today. We should be able to start shingling on Friday.

Garrett...I'm glad you have power back.

Josh...if it makes you feel better...its been raining for 3 days straight!

Poppysky...I'm glad the you made it to Rockford safely.

Off to start my chem lab...talk about procrastinating!

Steve (azskyman), 36.42 degrees north latitude, 89.11 degrees west longitude is located in extreme northwestern Tennessee. Rockford, Illinois is located near 42.28 degrees north latitude, 89.04 degrees west longitude... a difference of 405 miles. :)

Good luck on your finals, Shannon and Garrett.

Good Morning!

Pardon me if I move inside by the pot belly stove "Brrrrrrr!" you can actually see your breath outside!!! Like Josh, I am sick and tired of this cold, WINDY weather, the fire danger is EXTREME with more 40-60 MPH winds in the forecast for today, tomorrow and Saturday *sigh* The sky right now looks like I'm on the coast, low clouds HAULING @$$, looks like snow *heavy sigh* AH WELL, by the time it warms up, summer will be over and fall will REALLY be here, I've taken my winter clothes BACK OUT of storage, put the shorts away!

Azskyman, sounds like a wonderful time, enjoy!

Shannon, Garrett......good luck with y'alls exams!

Gotta git, need to go find the snow shovels "LOL!"

Cracker Barrell? Did someone say Cracker Barrell? My mouth is watering! I always love eating there.

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday morning. Cloudy here, but I am sure the sun will come out before too long. Then I need to mow the grass before it storms again.

Have a terrific Thursday,
Garrett :multi:
