At 1642Z there was a peak of 76 kt (88 mph). Plenty of gusts in the 60-70s (kt)

Yeah, they may get into a bit of the eyewall, but if the current motion of 295@05kt continues, this will (relatively) reduce the chances of being in the deepest part of the eyewall. Either way, it'll still be very rainy and windy. (Understatement... I know...)

don't think its going to make much practical difference if they get the eyewall or not to be honest, the wind maxima is probably only a small difference from the background winds this storm has produced thus far...alot like Emily where it had 2-3 wind maximas of near equal strength spread throughout the storm in concentric rings.

Kadena Weather just said for us to expect 16-18 inches of rain..so far according to the Kadena page we have seen 4.65 inches of rain..looking out my window I cant say we got that much but the grass is almost one big pool

At Kadena I'm just seeing gusts to low 80s (mph) right now and it's about due south of tip.

they where driving around last time in songda where we had wind gusts reported at 125 with alot of damage...they crazy during storms..lol
