I believe that's 977.7mb on the report. Still, a few mb lower.

I still feel there is a good chance this will skirt the coast all the way to Corpus the way things are setting up. Storm will remain pretty much steady state if this does occur. Looks to me like the steering currents could very well let this happen though. Any thoughts?

Mine is a very unprofessional opinion to be taken very lightly.

BTW, is there any chance this actually sneaks under the ridge to the W?

So Dolly is doing what she was forecast to do.....nothing too much unexpected with this 'Cane.....so far.....

I know it says 978mb above, but the VDM says 983...what's up with that? Those arent suspect readings, there are several of them, and the extrapolated pressure usually 5mb off...usually maybe 1-2mb

The VDM was from the NOAA plane, the AF plane is the one that extrapolated the 977.

The VDM from above is from the NOAA flight...the 978mb is from the Air Force flight...
