Cycloneye, it seems to be neither ex Tomas nor the system causing swells in our region but a totally separate entity located much closer to the British Isles. If you hover your mouse over the video you will see a link to another clip labeled “Met Office warns of gales and...” that features a BBC forecaster pointing out the location of the LOW a couple days ago. The big surf is not from ex Tomas,but from a strong extratropical low that is located near Bermuda.
