That post from JohnAdmin should've been done immediately after all of that garbage took place. PLUS they should've stated that the forums are going to focus more on weather discussions than "Off Topic". So now that Cappy started the "Ole' Pot Belly Stove" thread, I wonder how long that is going to last. They treated their patrons like poop and they need to do alot better proving that they do really care about them.

Very well said Steph....you see thats what burns me up the most about that place...you have one head guy, hardly ever around but can basically do whatever and have his other cronies volunteer and babysit for him. i just dont get it, but you spelled it out with that reply. Matter of fact, I scrolled up and saw one of my last posts there, yet just another example of how I said what I said and I took the heat compared to others. Pfffffffffft

And yes...I wont have any probs with the ol snowblower....that guy is at work! lol

Good afternoon everyone

For all of the new members...WELCOME!!!!

Dennis...let us know how you are when you can. Rob, glad to see you're ok.

I'm happy for all of you who are getting snow and for those of you are getting too much, please feel free to send some to me! I have been begging for someone to ship me some snow down here and everyday I wait for it to arrive, but it never does.

A couple of our local mets are saying that we could see some sleet or snow late Friday into Saturday morning with light or no accumulation expected. What does it take to get some real snow down here? It's happened before...I've even built a few snowmen when I was a little kid and had some snowball fights. But now that I'm all grown up and can really appreciate the fun of building snowmen and having snowball fights and making snow angels, there's never any snow!! <<sniff sniff>>

Well, after looking at radar, there is some snow scattered across Texas this afternoon, so maybe some of it will reach us tonight way down here in Southeast Texas...but I won't hold my breath.

*ROTFLMAO*

Hey, ROB! ... Wouldn't you be so lucky!?

When I had my EKG for monitoring of my heart and everything to find out it was overexerted muscles, all I got was one nurse, who totally screwed up sticking a needle in my wrist (blood circulators?) which hurt like hell. And it swoll up like you wouldn't believe, so she had to stick the stinkin' thing in my other wrist, in which another nurse did ... Geez!

That's gotta be what it is then.

The degree of temptations are directly proportional to the fact that if you have a significant other in your life!. (*LMAO*)

Obviously, I never get hit on by women unless I have a g/f at the time!...*LOL*

Thanks JohnAdmin. I know when you shut it down on the 5th you had apologized for giving us such short notice. I'm sure that you didn't have all of the facts then and I'm glad that you gave us alittle more of an explanation now. I'm still alittle concerned as to why there were so many topics that were deleted and locked that night when mostly the people were just pretty much wondering and speculating what was going on. I know that you didn't want it to turn into a free for all, and maybe the concern was cost related as well. However, I think that you could understand the confusion and concerns of that night.

Thanks again!

*FOFLMAO* (Falling on Floor)

To make a long story short, when I was with my ex-girlfriend a few years ago, I had so many phone numbers given to me from young ladies that wanted to go out with date, it wasn't even funny! ... Even worse, all of them but one looked way better than my ex-girlfriend.

In retrospect, what the hell was I thinking? *bumps head on PC desk*

Too bad, the woman I have the most interest in is taken.

Nice move Steph..I can sense the urgency for an answer while barely holding yourself together. Now you know how I felt once I got the eternal boot from him! I'm so torn on wanting a little payback since they now dont show me the time of day....whu do you think I'm here now!

Mike..I totally can relate...I'm in the same boat brother. I always used to take a cruis in my car on a warm summer night just to get out of the house and by 3am I'd still be cruising around and no one to talk to. If I was with my girlfriend..we would be shut-in and stay in the house cause she knows thet we get hit on when we're together...strange!

lol Chad...lovely set of people they have running the 3 ring circus over there eh? lol sheesh I think at this point they are not tolerating anything and just weeding out potential 'troublemakers' with the eternal banishment. How sad!

I will let you guys know...

#100 Postby Stephanie » Fri Feb 07, 2003 5:01 pm

it'll be one of three things;

1) no reply and I'm not banned
2) no reply and I'm banned
3) some kind of reply and I'm not banned

I doubt that they will reply and ban me. I just wanted to share my feelings, kind of like everyone was trying to do on Wednesday. Rob - you still have "Member" under your signon.

They have the "Ol' Pot Belly Stove" thread in bold and everyone that's been posting over there is hoping that's a good sign. We'll see.
