I read some the DISD comments on X. They weren't pretty. Teenage end of the world type stuff with some vulgarity that made me blush.

Honestly if i had kids, i wouldn’t send them tommorow, well below freezing all day long, pretty incompetent decision by that school district if you ask me

All districts are open. Roads are fine for the most part but cold will be an issue for the bus riders for sure

Yeah agree. Unfortunately, that's becoming so common these days. Having worked in public education for fifteen years I don't miss that part of it at all. I teach Higher Ed now and while it's still a problem here and there, as a professor you can deal with it directly.

Getting back to weather...I would keep my kids home if I couldn't drop them off and pick them up in cold like that.Just my .02 and avoid writing the paragraph complaining to the district on Facebook. Lol

The N-S band streaks of snow have showed up on the west side. Out west just east of Cisco a persistent band has been putting down snow downwind of Hubbard Creek Lake.

That Lake Lewisville streamer has been right over my office for hours. I guess Irving ISD is still having classes today.

Got colder overnight here in Round Rock than models or even NWS predicted. Shocked aren’t you?! LOL

Currently 18° here. Reports of snow flurries too in Travis and Williamson counties. Love it!
