Wacky weather in Mid South, Ice Storm and SVR Tstorm Warning

#1 Postby HarlequinBoy » Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:20 am

Areas in northern Arkansas, northwest Tennessee, and the Missouri bootheel are experiencing simultaneous severe thunderstorms, along with heavy icing!

Meanwhile there's a sharp front draped across this area. At my location it's 60 at 11:18 while 50 miles north it's around 35.

Just as an example - Izard County Arkansas is under an Ice Storm warning and Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a temperature of 30 degrees.
