TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- An orangutan somehow escaped from its living area at Busch Gardens on Saturday.
The orangutan exhibit is part of Busch Gardens' new adventure park, Jungala.
The animal was loose for about an hour and half, and zoo staff lured the freedom-seeking orangutan back into captivity using ice cream.
Witnesses said part of the park was shut down in the evening and staff were darting around with tranquilizer guns.

Better a monkey than a t-rex. There are always little bugs in the system that need an adjustment or two.
