Back for the action!

Hey all,

I apologize for disappearing, especially so soon after I became a forecaster here. First my Comcast internet went down and then my grandmother has had some major medical problems (please keep her in your prayers.) Everything seems to be in order now, so I am glad that I am able to once again join in the talk of the tropics.

I'll also resume producing the 5pm Storm2k Tropical Outlook....if anybody is interested :D

It looks like the mid level circulation with our INVEST is going to be the main player. Good convection going up with it. It seems like the best place for a definite LLC to set up.

Convection is growing steady over MLC.. We shall see

What a nightmare invest 91L has become ... which feature wants to become dominant? ... all of a sudden, the LLS wants to fire up new convection, meanstwhile, the MLC further NE continues to flare ...

Welcome back, Al. I wish your grandmother well.

I wouldn't think any of us should of been "sold" on the positioning of 91L's LLC that made it to the surface yesterday. This is common and actually fun to monitor and discuss together here.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. It means a lot!

Stormsfury, as I replied in another thread, I believe the convection associated with the MLC is the main feature to watch. The low level swirl seen earlier today has weakened and is getting sheared to pieces. If anything forms, it will be with the MLC, IMHO.
