PSU is down again, this calls for creativity.
Tropical models are current.
For the GFS (AVN) I used the 18Z from NCEP *and* ran it at 850mb, not SFC. Curious to see if it would look a little different. Starts off more to the north but settles into the persistent path progged by earlier GFS and the tropicals. Don't know if that means even with a MLC a touch north an eventual path still holds through the Straights, but wanted to see.

OT: On Sunday night our AM transmitter and tower took a massive CG hit. That was 4 in a week (thank you to the Trof for that) and blew out a 40 year old tuning coil plus new power supply and a coupler on transmission line. Our AM has been off-air since then, the longest since Camille in 69 when the whole place went underwater :o . Model updates are slow as everyone here is dealing with listeners, clients and crabby tech people. Hope it'll be back Friday and the dust will settle. Our FM and web site aren't affected.
