Actually, that says 51 knots.
This is system is very close to TS strength. Since there have already been several reports of TS force winds close to the center, all we need are west winds and boom...we'd probably have Erika (provided the MLC has dug down to the surface). In any event, it'll be a close call before it hits Florida; and even if it fails to become a TD or TS before landfall, I'd still look for development in the Gulf.
BTW, to me, it still looks to be organizing. Its convection does not span as large of an area but imo that's a result of consolidation...not dwindling.
