Subsidence affecting northern part of system?

#1 Postby ALhurricane » Wed Aug 13, 2003 10:41 pm

Looking at current water vapor loops, it appears that a strong area of subsidence north of the system has begun to impede on the northern portion of the system's outflow. This seems to be the result of the strength of the building ridge to the north.

Definitely not a healthy sign for intensification...of course neither is land
