PSU site is still down and unable to ingest the globals ... the tropical models have once initialized further south (24.8ºN, 80.8ºW).

Hold on, everyone ... I was unable to digest globals into the model maps.
Just went through the globals and ALL of the globals insist on development .. most about halfway through the GOM ... the ETA/GFS indicate a Northern Central Mexico hit, the ECMWF/UKMET are indicating a North Mexico landfall, and the Canadian/NOGAPS right along the MX/TX border, with the Canadian a little further north into Southern TX ...

I gotta admit, I was sort of hoping this one would strengthen a bit so we could watch it swim westward in the GOM and then fizzle out before causing a catastrophe at landfall.

91L still a taco storm - no way the models can do anything else with it.
Funny actually, the GFS hasn't harped many, and hadn't missed as many as normal. :o :o :o
