Turning a Northwest Airlines 747-400 into a Delta Airlines 7

#1 Postby gtalum » Mon Jan 12, 2009 11:11 pm

This 3 minute video shows the transformation of a Northwest 747-400 into a Delta 747-400.

Since Delta and NWA have merged, a lot of aircraft will be painted in the next few months. :)

Very cool video.
I wonder how long it took in real time. A whole day or 2?

I've heard it takes as long as 2 weeks to paint a 747 in new colors. They first stripped off all the old paint, then did a complete new paint job.
